Muriel shapes the vision of Tropixx with creativity and purpose, blending artistry and fitness to keep the program fresh, engaging, and true to its roots.
Steve Banua Sanchez
Tropixx Tane Trainer
Steve Banua Sanchez is a professional Polynesian dancer, choreographer, and instructor with over 20 years of international experience. He began his career in 2004 after being contracted by The Walt Disney Company, performing at the Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort in Walt Disney World Resort. He also toured as a principal dancer with Polynesian Paradise Dancers.
An award-winning Tahitian dancer, Steve earned multiple solo titles at the Kiki Raina Tahitian Dance Competition and won Overall Best Group with No Te Here Ote Hiroa at the Tahiti Fete of San Jose in 2004 and 2006.
Now based in the Philippines, he has taught and choreographed for MEV Dance Company, San Diego Dance Company, andThe Addlib Dance Company. His work was also featured at the Philippine International Dance XChange in 2017 and 2018.
